• Lunch & Learn
Do you often wonder if you are asking your
doctor the right questions? Are you having a
hard time understanding that latest research
reported on the news? Do you search the
internet for hours only to end up with
conflicting information and sore eyes?
BCRC's Lunch & Learn is for you! Join other
patients/survivors/caregivers from all over
the country (and the world), to hear the
latest on key breast cancer issues from the
nation's premier cancer specialists via
exciting teleconferences presented by
CancerCare and Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
Each session focuses on a different topic,
and participants can call in to have
questions answered by the experts. Share
your thoughts with the other Lunch &
Learners after the teleconference ends.

• Networking Nights
Networking Nights give breast cancer
patients, survivors, caregivers and members of
the community an opportunity to meet and talk
with each other, and to hear about a wide range
of breast cancer-related issues from local and
regional experts. Light dinner and refreshments
are provided.

• Resource Library
Whether you have just been diagnosed and need information to help make treatment decisions, you are looking for advice on exercise and nutrition to help with your recovery, or you have a family member with breast cancer and want to know how to help, you’ll find everything you need in the BCRC Resource Library. Browse through the selection of books, audio and video tapes, reference materials, and magazines. Settle into the comfortable couch to read, or borrow materials to take home with you. If you don’t have computer at home, or just need a quiet place to do some research, the Resource Library has a computer with internet connection available for you to use, free of charge.
